Friday Night Treats

Hi Everyone,

So as promised earlier this week, I said that I would be posting a blog featuring all my favourite snacks and treats for tonight’s Late Late Toy Show. I was busy working on these today and they taste so nice that i’m hoping I wont have them eaten before the show starts!

1. 3 Ingredient Ice-Cream

This recipe is SUPER easy and tastes delicious! Perfect if you are trying to avoid milk and want to have a healthy substitute to ice-cream.

What You’ll Need

1-Banana

1 Tbsp of Peanut Butter

1 sml handful of chocolate chips

What to do

1. Chop the banana up, place into a freezer bag and pop into your freezer for a few hours.

2. When it’s frozen place into blender and add in a scoop of peanut butter, blend til smooth.

3.Place into a serving dish and add in chocolate chips.

Simple As That!

2. Roasted Chickpeas

A tasty alternative to a packet of crisps!

What you’ll need

1 Tin of Chickpeas

.5 tsp of Paprika

.25 tsp of Chilli Powder

1 tsp of Olive Oil

What to doΒ 

1. Drain and rinse the tin of chickpeas. Dry off excess water using paper towel.

2. Place into a baking tray & drizzle with oil.

3. Add seasoning mentioned above or your own preference.

4. Mix until everything is covered evenly.

5. Pop into over @200 degree Celsius for 30 minutes making sure to check them every so often.

3. Peanut Butter Cups

What you’ll need

Peanut Butter of choice (smooth version)

Chocolate

What to do

1. First boil a saucepan full of water and place a bowl on top.

2. Break up the chocolate and allow to melt.

3. Set up a bun tray and place bun cases into each.

4. Pop a layer of melted chocolate into each.

5.Add a spoon of peanut butter on top

6. Add another layer of chocolate to cover.

7. Place in fridge to set for 30 minutes.
